Hey, I'm Dr. Ambrea' Lacy!
Dr. Ambrea’ Lacy, MBA is a Dallas-based tax strategist, educator, and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience serving individuals and small business owners nationwide. She is the founder of iTax Solutions and iTax Institute, where she has trained and mentored hundreds of tax professionals to launch and grow profitable, compliant tax practices.
Dr. Ambrea’ is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and actively serves her community through philanthropic efforts. Her passion for financial literacy and dedication to empowering others have earned her national recognition as a trusted voice in the tax and finance industry.
My Companies
Dr. Ambrea’ began her entrepreneurial journey in 2009 with a mobile tax preparation business, launched with the support of her father. What started as a side hustle soon evolved into a seven-figure firm. She earned a Bachelor’s in Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2010, followed by an MBA from Texas Woman's University in 2012—all while running a credit repair business.
By 2015, she officially founded iTax Solutions, expanding her services and vision. In 2019, she launched iTax Institute to train entrepreneurs nationwide. Her work has helped over 500 professionals launch successful firms, and she continues to teach through courses, coaching, and live trainings.
Drawing from her experience navigating IRS due diligence audits, Dr. Ambrea’ now teaches preparers how to stay compliant, avoid penalties, and protect their businesses. She recently launched the Digital Wealth Vault, a Skool-based community where she guides individuals step-by-step in building wealth through proper financial structure, tax strategies, and long-term planning.
Milestones
At the Tax & Accounting Summit in 2021, Ambrea’ was recognized for generating over $1M in revenue within 12 months.
In 2023, Ambrea’ reached a major milestone by earning her Doctorate Degree in Humanitarianism and receiving the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, underscoring her unwavering commitment to her community.
In 2024, Ambrea’ became a Certified Main Street Tax Advisor guided by America’s best tax and legal expert Mark J. Kohler. In 2025, she was officially pinned as a member of Millionaire Legacy Builders, further cementing her status as a leader in financial education and entrepreneurship.
In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Ambrea' proudly serves as an instructor with Latino Tax Pro, where she helps train and mentor future tax professionals.
